Confidentiality

Here is the privacy information employees usually need before they reach out.

ESS is built to be easy to trust. Employees access care privately, and organizations receive privacy safe program information that keeps every individual's clinical details fully protected.

What stays private

Session content, personal clinical details, names, attendance, therapist notes, and individual care decisions are protected and remain entirely within the clinical relationship.

What organizations can receive

Organizations can receive broad engagement themes, workshop recommendations, program improvement ideas, and privacy safe implementation feedback.

Plain Language Version

You can talk about work, stress, grief, relationships, substance use, burnout, or conflict. Everything said in session stays in session.

Like all regulated counselling relationships, narrow legal and ethical duties exist around imminent risk, abuse reporting, and court orders. Within those boundaries, ESS is designed so employees reach out with full confidence, and organizations receive only the program-level guidance they need to keep improving support.
